Maruzen Foods Corporation has set up Maruzen Foods Vietnam Co.Ltd. in Binh Duong and built a factory at My Phuoc 3 IP to produce and outsource canned and bottled juices and kinds of beverage. The nearly 13ha plant has a total investment capital of VND2,189.7bil, equivalent to US$104mil.
The plant’s yearly capacity is at 150 tons of materials for kinds of beverage such as tea, coffee, fruit juice, etc, 2.5 million casks of bottle beverage, 100 tons food such as porridge, ketchup and processed mushroom. It is expected that the plant will put officially into operation by April, 2014.
At the investment certificate granting ceremony, Le Thanh Cung highly valued Maruzen Foods Corporation’s ability and said that the project is very significant, contributing to offer materials for food processing businesses as well as provide customers with high quality beverage.
The local administration will always facilitate the corporation’s operation.
