Early July 1, provincial Trade Promotion Center forwarded a conference to review its activities in 2015.
The center last year implemented 22 programs on trade promotion, e-business and international economic integration with total expense of more than VND5.4bln or 100% of the year’s plan. It also organized 8 business delegations to attend expos in and out of the province with total revenue of VND643mln and signed export contacts worth US$93,000 with partners from Middle East, Russia and the UK; held a “Binh Duong- 40 years of development and construction” expo with 155 stalls and total revenue of VND1.5bln; carried out 9 “bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside” programs with total revenue of VND5.95bln. Especially, the center organized 2 business delegations in the fields of furniture, lacquer, sculpture and pottery to make surveys in Germany and Japan.
In 2016, the center will organize 10 joyful market-days, engage in trade promotion activities at home and abroad, especially put focus on providing businesses with updated information on trade, export-import, investment, law and international economic integration via the e-portal of provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
