In the past year, Binh Duong drastically and synchronously launched policies of the Government and set out many measures of administration reform, especially policies of reducing and exempting taxes, supporting business and production, training human resources for enterprises and more. These solutions not only contribute to improve business environment, spur competition capacity but accelerate stable development of enterprises.
Solving difficulties, maintaining growth
Vo Van Cu, director of the provincial department of Trade and Industry said that Binh Duong in the past year excelled solutions and policies set out in the Resolution No.01/NQ-CP dated Jan. 2, 2014 and steered and managed well implementation of local plan on socio-economic development and budget estimate 2014. Besides, the local leaders worked constantly with local and outbound enterprises to timely solve difficulties, helping enterprises develop production and business. Specifically, the VND1tril credit package with preferential rates set out by the local administration helped some enterprises enjoy loans.
In addition, to spur local socio-economic growth, Binh Duong focuses on building technical infrastructure, improving investment environment. As such, industrial production, import, export, goods retails reached remarkable results. Specifically, the local administration in the past year won VND187,530.5bil in industrial production value, a 15.6% increase; nearly US$17.742bil in export turnover; VND103,492.8bil in service turnover from the past year.
Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung, head of Binh Duong Customs Bureau said that in the past year Binh Duong Customs launched system of VNACCS/VCIS to ensure smooth operation. The sector set up 3 teams to solve goods and cut time for enterprises. Besides, Binh Duong Customs Bureau spurs dialogues with business associations, updates information on policies relating to customs, import and export and more.
Creating impetus for development
Vo Van Cu said that on Jan. 3, 2015 the Government issued Resolution No.01/NQ-CP on tasks and main solutions of implementing plan on socio-economic development and State budget estimate 2015, developing human resources, spurring technology and science development and more.
2015 is the final year of implementing plans on economic development for the period of 2011-2015. Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee will have many preferential policies to help enterprises develop production and business and will strive to reach goal of industrial development and export in the 2011-2015 period.
Meanwhile, the local department of Trade and Industry will timely launch the Government and Ministry’s supportive policies as well as grasp difficulties of enterprises to spur production and business.
Rep of the provincial Tax Bureau revealed that the bureau in 2015 will excel one-door regulation, hold training courses on tax policies, dialogues for businesses and so on.
It is hoped that policies and measures plus stable growth of enterprises in 2014, TPP and FTA agreements will be opportunities and favorable conditions for local enterprises’ production development and market expansion.
