2009 was the 4th consecutive year Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. reached the average productivity of more than 2 tons of rubber latex per ha. The company’s achievement partially came from the efforts by rubber plantations in raising the rubber latex exploitation capacity. Minh Tan Rubber Plantation was one of the company’s units taking the lead in exploitation capacity, greatly contributing to the company’s common achievements.
Minh Tan Rubber Plantation includes 2,176 ha of rubber, 1,757 ha of which are now under exploitation. Over the past five years, the rubber plantation not only excelled at growing and tending its rubber tree garden, but also took the lead in rubber latex exploitation capacity.

Particularly, it exploited 21,522.69 tons of rubber latex or 116.68% and was recognized as the unit getting the rubber latex productivity of 2.68 tons per ha for five consecutive years. The above-mentioned result was mainly attributed by the plantation’s workers’ efforts and garden protection work, said Nguyen Tan Thong, vice-secretary of the plantation’s Party Committee.
Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. over time also paid more attention to the material and spiritual lives of workers, especially in making accommodations for them. In the last tenure, the whole rubber plantation had 28 houses built and 14 others upgraded. Upon its different funds, the company built and donated 11 houses to needy workers at the rubber plantation. This attention was also a driving force for workers to ardently work, contributing to promoting the rubber plantation’s evolution.
Along with workers’ efforts, the rubber garden protection work was also one of the reasons contributing to increasing the plantation’s rubber latex exploitation capacity. Mr.Thong said that the plantation’s volunteer youths had close coordination with the local government to well realize property protection in the plantation. Many other efforts in the rubber garden protection work were also executed by the plantation.
