Early July 26, a delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI), led by Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment paid a working visit to Binh Duong. Mai Hung Dung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received the delegation.
At the reception, representative of provincial Department of Planning and Investment informed the delegation of the local implementation of socio-economic development targets in the first half of 2016. Provincial People’s Committee also petitioned the Government, ministries and sectors to soon put forward measures to make synchronous investment in the regional traffic infrastructure system as planned and fully tap the effectiveness of the investment, creating a motivation for inter-regional socio-economic development; suggested the MoPI, the Ministry of Finance to advise the Government on increasing middle-term capital sources from 2016 to 2020 and maintaining the rate of the central State budget allocation for the 10-year period to be proactive to devise middle and long-term plans at the local demand and potential for development…
Mr.Hieu acknowledged and spoke highly of achievements done by the province over the past 6 months. The MoPI also shared difficulties in terms of infrastructure, social welfare…with the province and will report them to the Government for timely adjustment so that the province continues going up and makes more active contributions to the national development
