More than 48,000 businesses participate in the national single system

Since beginning of August 2021, 226 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and branches were officially processed on the national single window system with approximately 3.97 million dossiers of over 48,000 enterprises. According to the General Department of Customs, in July, the number of documents processed on the National Single Window Portal was approximately 80,000, with nearly 800 businesses.

In addition to operating the system and coordinating with ministries and branches to handle administrative procedures of the business community, the General Department of Vietnam Customs - the Standing Body of the National Steering Committee on the ASEAN Single Window (ASW), National Single Window (NSW) and trade facilitation, is completing the explanation of solutions and orientations for the development of the Master Plan on building and developing an information technology system to serve the implementation of NSW and ASW in the direction of centralized processing.

According to the General Department of Customs, the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window have fundamentally changed the method of implementing specialized management and inspection procedures. The comprehensive implementation of e-customs procedures has created a breakthrough reform for import and export activities; the time for customs clearance is shortened through the receipt of customs declaration information and result feedback of channeling declarations within 1 - 3 seconds, thereby helping to reduce and simplify customs documents.
