Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment Co.Ltd. held an opening ceremony of the first phase of My Phuoc water supply plant with the capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day and night, with the total investment capital of VND519bil.
Attending the ceremony were reps of central and local leaders, Nguyen Huu Tu, vice secretary of the provincial party committee, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
The plant’s operation is to expand and improve capacity and service quality, ensuring adequate supply of clean water for 120,000 people and enterprises and neighboring areas.
The plant’s capital is from ODA of the World Bank and it belongs to Vietnam urban waste water and water supply project guranteed by the Vietnamese government.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee applauded Biwase’s achievements and timely and effective cooperation between central and sectoral agencies as well as extended thanks to the World Bank that had contributed importantly to Binh Duong’s development.
In addition, he asked Biwase to pay more attention to managing, maintaining and promoting efficiency of the project.
