Provincial Farmers’
Association yesterday held a conference to partially sum up its activities in
the first half of the year and define orientations for the rest of the year. 
Accordingly, from now till year-end, the association will coordinate with relevant agencies to propagandize the Party and State’s policies and laws regarding agriculture, farmers and rural areas; implement the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association for the 2013 and 2018 tenure; organize classes on animal husbandry and cultivation for the local farmers…
Provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels in the first half of the year helped members to get more than VND23mln in loan for economic development and promoted many emulation movements among them. The emulation movement of “Good farmer in production and business” absorbed nearly 17,500 participating households. Under the emulation movement of “Farmers joining rural infrastructure construction”, provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels mobilized members to upgrade 38 km of rural roads…There were also more than 28,000 farming households registering for implementation of the campaign of “The entire people consolidate to build up a cultural lifestyle in residential areas”.
