On March 19, a series of important socio-economic events, including the groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) III; the ceremony awarding investment certificates to investors; the ceremony handing over memoranda of investment registration to enterprises; the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of some social housing projects invested by Becamex IDC took place in Binh Duong.
These events were attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders of a number of ministries, central sectors and localities; Singapore Ambassador to Vietnam. For Binh Duong, there were Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, districts, towns and cities in the province; leaders of Becamex IDC, VSIP Joint Venture.
