Linking with many regions
The national highway No.13 was in the past a key route for change of Binh Duong province, now My Phuoc-Tan Van route is expected to created a new impetus for rapid development of socio-economy. It is forecasted that the provincial transport and traffic network will surpass over 15% per year.
With the importance, Becamex IDC has focused all sources on completing this route. Until now, this route’s 1st phase has been finalized and its initial result has been proved by a high traffic density. This route’s attraction has made investors and authorities at all levels surprised. Recently, My Phuoc-Tan Van route’s management board was forced to stop some sections of this route to decrease circulation of some vehicles, owing to this route’s incompletion.
Ca Nguyen Khiem, a container driver, said “Earlier, I had to drive roundabout ways from My Phuoc to Di An. However, My Phuoc-Tan Van route helps me save expense and time”. He added that once this route is opened to traffic, it is sure that the number of vehicles will increase rapidly, owing to its efficiency.
My PHuoc-Tan Van route is now a local strategic route, linking industrial parks with sea ports (Thi Vai, Cai Mep), container ports (Dong Nai, Binh Duong and HCM’s district 9) and new international airport (Long Thanh) and contributes to reduce 25% of time and 30% of transport expense.
Future orientation
Dinh Hoa ward People’s Committee chairman Nguyen Van Dau, said “Dinh Hoa ward has enjoyed advantages of this route. Since this route’s section in the ward has been completed, many households have moved to settle”. Thanks to this route, Dinh Hoa’s urban picture has become an attractive destination for investors and residents.
This route has brought surprised results for areas that it passes. Though it is in the first stage of completion, its section in Binh Chuan ward has changed local image. Binh Chuan ward’s people have enjoyed new opportunities that the route brings to them. Doan Van Len, a resident in this ward, said “Thanks to this route, my exhausted land lot now becomes a valued land. I have invested in building lodging rooms to create a stable income for my children”.
Indeed, My Phuoc-Tan Van route has brought better-than-expected results for households where it goes through. Localities such as Binh Chuan, Thuan Giao, An Phu wards of Thuan An town have showed a significant change. Many local households have become billionaires thanks to this route.
Binh Chuan ward People’s Committee chairman Nguyen Van Thien, said “This route is like a spearhead, helping our locality link with other localities to be one of attractive destinations in the future”.
According to the provincial People’s Committee’s decision on “adjusting planning on provincial traffic-transport development till 2020”, My Phuoc-Tan Van route is an important road. Its first section is in DT741 and final section is in Dong Nai bridge and this road goes through Thu Dau Mot city, Di An and Thuan An town with the total length of about 29.8km and investment capital of VND1.764bil. Average circulation speed on this route is about 100km/hour. This 30m width route includes 6 lanes and many elevated bridges at important traffic areas.
