New industrial parks will be soon completed and put into use

According to Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, the province has planned 33 industrial parks with a total area of 14,790 hectares. The Management Board continues to be in charge of managing 29 industrial parks, with a total planned area of 12,662 hectares, of which 28 industrial parks have been put into operation with a total area of 11,962 hectares.

Cay Truong Industrial Park alone has been approved by Provincial People's Committee for general construction planning (scale 1/5,000) with an area of 700 hectares, and the next steps are executed to put the industrial park into operation. In 2023, the Management Board also appraised and approved 20 detailed construction planning projects (scale 1/500) of projects in the Industrial Park with a total land area of 436.53 hectares. Up to now, 25 projects have been appraised and approved with a total land area of 554.64 hectares.

Currently, the province is urgently researching, soon completing and putting into use the Scientific Technological Industrial Park invested by Becamex IDC. In addition, the completion and implementation of VSIP 3 and Cay Truong Industrial Park will provide an additional 1,700 hectares of land. Other industrial parks are also submitting applications to expand their area. The goal of 2024 is that provincial industrial parks will lease and sublease land from 100-150 hectares, attracting $1.2-1.3 billion of foreign investment capital, from VND1,100-1,200 billion of domestic investment capital.
