Not just one but two years, Binh Duong faced Covid-19 pandemic with difficulties. But, with the joint effort and consensus of the whole political system, the entire people and the business community, before the Lunar New Year 2022, Binh Duong received a lot of joy when the pandemic was under control with economy still maintaining its growth momentum, development cycle continuing as usual.
In the New Year, many expectations open up in all socio-economic fields of the province. Since the last months of 2021, Binh Duong has successfully controlled the pandemic, quickly returning to the "new normal" state. Therefore, the expectation is that the pandemic will continue being controlled well. And, it is reasonable when in fact, the number of new cases in Binh Duong has been very low in recent days, fluctuating between 10-20 cases. Along with that, the majority of people in Binh Duong have been vaccinated against Covid-19 from 2 to 3 doses. Their vigilance against the pandemic is also high and they strictly follow the "5 K" message.
The province's economy faced a difficult year, but the end of 2021 is still full of expectations with a series of development targets to be completed in time, even many exceeding the set plan. The achievement, in addition to the drastic direction and support of all-level authorities, sectors and localities, came from the the business community’s spirit of overcoming difficulties, adapting flexibly, and developing aggressively for a long time. The efficiency in production and business of the business community made a very important contribution to the overall development of Binh Duong during the 25-year journey of construction and development, especially in the last year full of fluctuations.
Although facing difficulties, the province is fully convinced of the economic sublimation in the New Year as well as the following years. With existing foundation, experience to overcome difficulties plus the right strategy planned, it is believed that all are solid stepping stones for a new journey with many goals that Binh Duong has set up.
