Seven major projects capitalized at more than VND9 trillion was granted investment licenses in the investment promotion conference in Ninh Binh province on November 30th 2012.
Five Memorandum of Understandings on investment cooperation was signed at the conference.
Vina Kyoei Steel Company’s project worth over VND3 trillion was the largest investment project in the conference. Three of the seven licensed projects was in the field of tourism capitalized at more than VND4 trillion.
Ninh Binh province in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Investment holds the Investment Promotion Conference with the subject “Ninh Binh province – Integration and sustainable development” in the historic land of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh, leaders of Ninh Binh province and more than 700 delegates attended the conference.
Ninh Binh is 90 km far from Hanoi, the province is a special important location in terms of politic, military and economy, the province is not only the northern gateway and the northern key economic region but also the economic, cultural exchange place between the Red River Delta region and the North Central as well as between the North Delta and the Northwest.
Ninh Binh has all three types of terrain including mountains, plains and coastal areas. Not only that, this area is blessed a lot of rich resources and beautiful landscape.
In 2012, Ninh Binh has two relics being recognized as national special monuments, including Hoa Lu ancient capital and Trang An – Tam Coc – Bich Dong landscape.
Both relics are located in Trang An Eco-tourism area which is being submitted to UNESCO to recognize as the world natural cultural heritage./.
