In 2017, Steering Committee 389 of North Tan Uyen district regularly collaborated with relevant sectors, People's Committees of communes and Market Management Boards to propagate the law on trade activities. As a result, production and business establishments strictly complied, did not produce, store and trade prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, smuggled goods; At the same time, production and business households signed commitments not to dealing in smuggled goods with unclear origin as well as implementing regulations on food hygiene and safety. During the last year, the district's functional forces conducted the inspection and examination of 1,317 cases, detected 376 violation cases, sanctioned administrative violations in accordance with laws with the total administrative fine and retrieved tax collection of nearly VND4.7 billion.
In 2018, Steering Committee 389 of the district will continue to propagate laws in production and business activities; concentrate on examining and controlling the market, especially at the end of the year, to following essential goods: garments, foodstuffs, alcohol, cigarettes, confectioneries, cosmetics, medicine, functional food, furniture; To intensify the inspection of prices, measurement and quality, prevention of counterfeit goods and goods infringing upon intellectual property rights; prevent speculation, hoarding, unreasonable price increases, meeting consumer demand during Lunar New Year 2018.
