On the afternoon of November 12, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation together with provincial delegation checked the construction progress of the road project from Tam Lap bridge to Dong Phu under North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang arterial street. This is the road going through An Binh and Tam Lap communes in Phu Giao district with a total length of more than 11 kilometers.

According to a report by provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, up to now, the section through An Binh commune has handed over 100% of the site to construction units while the section through Tam Lap commune has reached nearly 90% in this task. Reporting to provincial delegation, leader of Phu Giao district’s People's Committee said that up to now, the project has been under construction for 325 days, with the construction volume reaching about 18.8% of total. Over the past time, the construction of the project still faced difficulties because of some sections with the power grid system that was not yet relocated. Besides, site clearance was show, making contractors units be impossible to carry out construction in a synchronous way. Along with that, the fluctuation of prices for materials such as gasoline also made construction work get difficult.
After hearing reports from units and directly inspecting the site, Mr. Loi asked for relevant units of the province and district to drastically accelerate site clearance. For the sections with sites that have been handed over, contractors and construction units need to mobilize all human resources, machinery and equipment to speed up the progress of construction. So far, the construction of the road from Tam Lap bridge to Dong Phu under the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang arterial street has been behind schedule. Therefore, he requested relevant units to show their determination, responsibility and close coordination to ensure the completion of the project on schedule. He requested that the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang arterial street must be fully opened to traffic in 2023.
