North Tan Uyen district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in the first nine months of 2014 was estimated at VND1.073trillion or 78.6% of the plan set out by the Resolution of the district’s People’s Council.
Over the past nine months, the district’s People’s Committee granted new business registration certificates for 530 cases and modified old ones of 22 other cases in business scopes: lodging, mechanism, karaoke… with a total investment capital of more than VND93bln.
Market price in the district remained stable during the period. Some essential food items like rice, sugar, cooking oil, meat, fish, confectionary, alcohol…also satisfied the local people’s demand for consumption.
The whole district is now home to 7 operational markets in Dat Cuoc, Tan Dinh, Tan Thanh, Tan Binh, Thuong Tan, Lac An and Binh My. The district’s People’s Committee is calling for investors to get involved in upgrading 3 markets in communes of Tan My, Binh My and Lac An in order to meet the local people’s increasing demand for buying and selling.
