North Tan Uyen district now has 26 cooperatives operating in the field of agriculture, trade - services, home industry, construction, (including 1 newly established cooperative) or 50% of the year’s plan. These cooperatives have a total of 196 members, creating regular jobs for 300 workers with the average income of VND6million-VND10million per person per month VND.
Since early this year, the district has also set up additional 6 cooperative groups, exceeding the year’s plan. The whole district currently has 14 cooperative groups on cultivation and animal husbandry with 69 members. In the first half of the year, they reached nearly VND3 billion in revenue and VND1billion in profit. The average income of laborers was between VND4million and to VND 6.5 million per person per month.
