North Tan Uyen’s economy further reaches a successful year

In 2019, North Tan Uyen district further gained many good results in development with targets surpassing the set plan. The lives of people continued being improved, bringing faith and animation to them before the threshold of the New Year.

Agriculture with stable development

The district’s agricultural production value in 2019 was more than VND2.3trillion, up 3.82% compared to 2018  or 100.58% of the year’s plan. The proportion of cultivation accounted for 80%.42% of the local agricultural structure while animal husbandry occupied 19.58%. The district’s total area for annual crop plants was 2,825 hectares, down 0.64%. There were more than 23,806 hectares of perennial trees, down 0.04% against the previous year…

A glance of Tan Binh industrial park

The whole district is now home to 67 cultivation farms of around 1,269 hectares. In 2019, the district organized a ceremony to announce the collective brand name of “North Tan Uyen tangerine”. The district’s functional sector also guided farmers how to take solutions on prevention of pestilent insects in crop plants.

The district has so far had 1.71 million of fowls and 55 farms on animal husbandry, including 26 under the industrial formula. Last year, the district made efforts in prevention of African-hog cholera. The district also announced that its pig population is free of the epidemic disease.

In 2019, the district had additional one cooperative and five cooperatives. The whole district has as of now had a total of 6 cooperative groups with 45 members, 18 cooperatives with 141 members and 245 regular laborers in stable operation.

Industry, trade-services accelerated

According to the district’s People’s Committee, the district’s industrial production value in 2019 was more than VND3.79trillion, up 12.53% compared to 2018 or 101.4% of the year’s plan. District-based industrial compounds and parks have so far lured 16 investment projects. Particularly, Dat Cuoc industrial park has attracted 12 investment projects of 35.89 hectares while the remaining 3 projects are in Tan Binh industrial park.

The district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in 2019 was more than VND2.53trillion, up 14.13% compared to 2018 or 101.86% of the year’s plan. The district also well realized its program bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas and strengthened State administration on trade-services.

The district-based markets also ensured supply of commodities with diverse patterns and quality ensured, basically meeting people’s demand for shopping and consumption. The district’s functional agencies inspected 1,167 cases and handled 355 wrong cases with a total fine of more than VND4.37trillion.

According to the district’s People’s Committee, the district’s values of industrial manufacture, trade-services and agricultural production in 2019 surged in comparison with 2018 and surpassed the year’s plan. The district’s infrastructure system continued receiving investment, better serving people’s needs. Many major works with large scale in the district, including those of changing the use of Da Ban lake, DH429 street…, were approved for investment.

The district also continued well realizing compensation and site clearance, especially for 2 works of North Tan Uyen-Phu Giao-Bau Bang street and Thu Bien-Dat Cuoc street. In addition, the district’s State administration on land, construction, natural resources, minerals..were implemented closely…
