Morning June 11th, the opening ceremony of the 1st Binh Duong Agricultural products and Timber industry Expo 2015 took place at Becamex IDC Center. Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Vice Chairman of PPC; Mr. Tran Van Lam, Standing Member of Central Vietnam Farmers’ Association, attended the ceremony.
Binh Duong Agricultural products and Timber industry Expo will last until June 17th. The exhibition has 280 booths including 60 booths of 9 localities, some agricultural businesses in the province, and Farmers’ Associations of Dong Nai province, Binh Phuoc province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Ho Chi Minh City…

This is an opportunity for producers, consumers and researchers to exchange directly information, transfer new technologies, strengthening trade promotion in the agricultural sector as well as the wood processing industry.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung stressed that this event contributed significantly to stabilizing the domestic market and boosting exports of agricultural products and wood processing industry in the province, while Vietnam had signed many trade agreements and was negotiating to sign Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). In addition, the expo was to respond to the campaign “Vietnamese people give priority to Vietnamese goods”, and restructure the agricultural sector towards urban, high-tech agriculture associated with the processing industry.
