Province-based credit institutions have rechecked and assessed the level of influence, quickly removing difficulties through restructuring debt repayment term, exemption or reduction of interest and fees, continuing providing new loans to support customers affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
They have so far restructured the repayment term for 1,085 customers with outstanding loans of more than VND6.01trillion, exempted or reduced interest for 4,865 customers, with outstanding loans of more than VND7.38 trillion, interest amount exempted and reduced at nearly VND 3 billion. They have also actively implemented preferential credit programs with interest rates lower than usual from 0.5 to 3% per year. Accordingly, they have made new loans of more than VND 147.75 billion to 11,930 customers with outstanding loans.
