Over 4,640 farming households get loan from provincial Support Fund for Farmers

Since early this year, provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels have well realized emulation movements under the spirit of the Conclusion No.61 of the Secretariat of the CPV Central Committee and the Decision No.673 of the Prime Minister. The development of provincial Support Farmers’ Fund has also reached more than 320% of the yearly plan.

Provincial Support Farmers’ Fund has so far amounted to nearly VND100billion, VND75billion of which was disbursed for more than 4,640 farming households. Provincial Farmers’ Association has also coordinated with the Bank for Social Policies of Vietnam’s Binh Duong branch to provide nearly VND389billion in loan for more than 23,000 farmers from the Government’s preferential credit programs.

As of October, provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels worked with fertilizer firms to support more than 2 tons of nurslings, breeding animals and more than 11 tons of fertilizer, pesticide for farmers, helping them promote production. Provincial Farmers’ Association has also teamed up with Binh Duong Newspaper to implement a program on “Training farmers into entrepreneurs” with 8 classes organized, absorbing the participation of 520 farmers.
