An Tay communal Farmers’ Association in Ben Cat town has just forwarded a conference to review the “good farmer in production-business” emulation movement for the period of 2014-2016.
Over the past three years, the emulation movement aroused farmers’ creativeness in shifting plants in line with their conditions in terms of soild and workforce, contributing to raising the local agricultural economic efficiency. It reached development in both depth and width in all aspects, significantly contributing to the local cause of new rural construction.
The communal Farmers’ Association also guided and mobilized members to effectively tap their resources, boost sci-tech application in cultivation and animal husbandry, make the shift of plant and animal structure…, aiming to help them become good farmers in production and business.
Through the emulation movement, many members have so far developed effective models with high income, including the model on fruit cultivation, fishing and pig breeding of Nguyen Van Ngan in Rach Bap hamlet with the average income of VND600million per year; the model on rice, fruit cultivation and pig breeding of Do Van Lap in Lo O hamlet with the average income of VND300million per year; the model on apricot growing of Do Van Tre in Lo O hamlet with the average income of VND700million per year…
As of late 2016, the whole commune had a total of more than 500 farmers winning the “good farmer in production and business” title.
