Over VND 34.515 expected for allocation

On the afternoon of November 27, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired the 77th meeting of provincial People's Committee. The meeting was attended by Mai Hung Dang, member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments, agencies and localities.

The meeting reviewed 20 draft resolutions, including several important topics such as the draft resolution on the State budget estimate, local State revenues, expenditures and allocation for 2025; the draft resolution on providing opinions on the mid-term public investment plan for 2026-2030; seeking opinions on the proposal to supplement funds outside the 2024 budget from the province’s contingency reserve for certain agencies and units... Notably, the meeting also considered the draft resolution on the State budget allocation plan for public investment in 2025. Accordingly, a total of over VND 34.515 billion will be allocated to 236 projects, with more than VND 18.110 billion immediately distributed to projects that meet the regulatory requirements.

At the meeting, delegates also contributed many opinions on the topics presented during the session. Among these, they agreed with the policy of investing in projects on land parcels acquired through auctions, emphasizing the need to focus on urban space, architecture that aligns with aesthetic standards and planning of the province…

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Minh expressed general agreement with the proposed contents. He emphasized the need for provincial Transportation Works Construction Investment Project Management Board and certain localities to further focus their efforts and determination in the disbursement process for the best results. He stated that the State budget revenue estimate for 2025, exceeding VND 80,724 billion, is entirely achievable. He also reminded departments and agencies to implement solutions and measures to overcome challenges and ensure the successful completion of the planned objectives…

According to provincial People's Committee Chairman, in 2025, the province will focus its resources on key large-scale projects with regional connection. The province plans to start construction on several major projects, namely the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway in early 2025, the Ring Road 4 project before April 30, 2025, the belt road No.2,  the riverside road linking to Binh Goi bridge. The province will also expedite preparations and urge investors to begin construction on the An Tay Port, expand An Son Port and continue encouraging socialization efforts to develop Ba Lua Port…
