In the near future, the additional investments into traffic projects of Vanh Dai 3, Vanh Dai 4, Duc Hoa - Chon Thanh Highway, Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh Highway, Thu Dau Mot - My Phuoc - Bau Bang metro, etc. are promisingly creating strong breakthroughs. Particularly, the North of the province including Ben Cat town, Tan Uyen district, and Bau Bang district will have the greatest benefits for promoting trade-service development.
Getting ahead of the trend and satisfy the requirements for sustainable development and firm foundation for industry, economic components in Tan Uyen town are being encouraged to participate into trade-service development attaching to functional planning of the region. According to Doan Hong Tuoi, Chairman of Tan Uyen town People’s Committee, local trade-service development has been prioritized for diversity, leading, auxiliary industries, urban services of banking, finance, commercial centers, supermarkets, residential areas, transportation, logistics, and recreation. In the town, 6 sectors of urban development have been planned to call for investments into high-quality trade-service, urban housing, and regional trade-service. Of which, the complex of multifunctions are to be developed along the major traffic routes, facilitating high quality service development.
Bau Bang district has a different appearance as traffic system has been developed along with attraction of investments into industry, trade and services.
As a new urban area, Bau Bang district emerged with transition of economic structure into industry and services. The industrial and urban development corridor of Bau Bang will be along National Highway 13 with a urban chain of Ben Cat - Bau Bang, Chon Thanh, etc. and concentrated industrial parks in My Phuoc - Bau Bang - and South of Chon Thanh. Besides, some industrial parks will also be along Vanh Dai 5 from Tan Uyen town through Phu Giao and to Bau Bang. In the near future, it is expected that Bau Bang district will have a different appearance with breakthroughs of traffic development, investments into industry, and trade-service thanks to the advantage of geography.
According to Nguyen Thanh Khiem, Secretary of Bau Bang district Party Committee, the determination of creating momentum to bring Bau Bang district to new and higher position, local Party Committee has determined that the measures of breakthroughs shall be continue.
Synchronous and modern infrastructure in relation to industry-service-urban development will be constructed on. The district authority is concentrating on allocation of transitional constructions within the mid-term investment plan, prioritizing for Vanh Dai routes of Bau Bang industrial park (DT749A), Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang route, district administrative center, district public housing, schools, and connecting routes to National Highway 13, Ben Cat - Bau Bang Tao Luc routes, and so on. The district authority is thriving to gain high economic growth and economic structure transition into industry, trade-service, and agriculture.
In fact, Ben Cat town has become one of the localities of highest growth in Binh Duong thanks to 10 industrial parks and clusters, of which, many have coverd hundreds of hectares including My Phuoc Industrial Parks 1, 2, and 3, Rach Bap Industrial Park, Singapore Acendas-Protrade Industrial Park, Mapletree, and so on attracting domestic and foreign enterprises to open production factories. Many large groups of Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Korea have constantly poured investments. Recently in Ben Cat town, Central Retail has expectedly planned for construction of large-scale commercial center in Ben Cat town at the cost of about USD 40 million including trading centers for fashion, catering, supermarket and recreation. This is expected to create momentum to promote civilized and modern trade-service development.

According to the business community, the promotion of investment attraction in high-quality trade and service not only creates a new face for the province but also is an important highlight contributing to the promotion of the Southern key economic zone development in the direction of linking industry - urban - service, attracting investors and high quality human resources. The advantage of staying in Binh Duong is that it only takes 10-15 minutes to travel by car to industrial parks and about 30 minutes to Aeon Mall.
