The theme of this year’s Vietnamese Customer Rights Day is “Enterprises for customers”. This is a chance for State agencies, organizations and enterprises to pay more attention to protecting the rights and interests of customers.
Protecting the rights and interests of customers always received the attention of the Party and State over the past years. Before the new context, their rights and interests need to be strengthened. That’s also reason why many solutions need to be put forward to enhance the position of domestic customers.
In terms of the role of enterprises in protecting the rights and interests of customers, Vu Thanh Truc, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Co.opmart supermarket said that Co.opmart supermarket chain has always been aware of its responsibility in supplying goods for customers as well as promoting the fight against the production and trade of poor-quality and counterfeit goods in order to practically protect the rights and interests of customers. With the spirit of “Protecting customers is also to protect true enterprises”, Binh Duong Co.opmart supermarket has merely traded in commodities by prestigious producers and having the certifications of food safety and hygiene granted by the Ministry of Health and functional agencies. The supermarket has also made inspection of suppliers to opportunely remind them to carry out innovations in production and processing activities in order to ensure high-quality products reaching food safety and hygiene. In addition, the supermarket has been resolute to stop trade with units that do not comply with food safety and hygiene and other regulations on commodities.
Mai Thi Anh Tuyet, Director of Vina Reishi Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company said that paying attention to customer is a solution for enterprises to go up. All contributive ideas by customers are a useful information channel for enterprises. This will help enterprise enhance their quality of service at customers’ demand. Hence, the company’s input materials always have clear origins in order to assure customers’ health. The company also wants that sectors and authorities at all levels to widely disseminate the Law on Customer Rights Protection, upgrade more necessary information on fake and poor-quality products among people.
It is known that Vietnamese Customer Rights Day aims to affirm the importance of customer rights protection. Through propaganda activities, it is hoped that customers will receive more attention in the coming time. This will contribute to building a healthy environment for both customers and enterprises.
