Diversification of hi-quality Vietnamese goods
As surveyed, most people in Phu Giao district’s communes of An Binh, Tan Hiep and Phuoc Sang have liked hi-quality Vietnamese goods very much. Phan Thi Dep, a resident in Tan Hiep commune’s hamlet 1 said that her family has used domestic goods with brand names Visan, Daso, Bien Hoa, Minh Long… for nearly 10 years. According to her, people in rural areas of the province have got more confidence in Vietnamese goods.
Huynh Thi Luong, Head of Tan Uyen town’s Department on Protection of Customers’ Rights said that over the past five years, market-days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” were organized across the town together with the birth of many domestic goods retail outlets. Realizing the pervasion of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign, domestic producers have so far built up hundreds of retail outlets in the rural areas of the province so that the local people can easily get access to hi-quality domestic goods.
Provincial Steering Board of the campaign said that there have been a lot of changes in the local people’s awareness and habit of using Vietnamese goods. The purchasing power of people in the rural areas of the province for domestic goods increased sharply over the past time. With reasonable price, domestic goods were still workers’ favorites…
Noticeably, the quality of Vietnamese goods has got better and better with diversification in design. This has made Vietnamese goods become more attractive for domestic customers.
Good cooperation
After five-year implementation, the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign has raised the local people’s awareness and habit of using Vietnamese goods.
To achieve the above result, according to representative of provincial Steering Board of the campaign, there was a good cooperation between functional agencies and localities in the implementation of the campaign over the past time. Particularly, provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and other mass organizations excelled at mobilization and propaganda work for the campaign. Provincial Department of Industry and Trade also instructed its Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information to successfully organize tens of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” market-days.
Meanwhile, domestic producers actively responded to the program of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”, thereby contributing to satisfying the local people’s demand for shopping. Province-based supermarkets and trade centers also well realized propaganda work by hanging the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” slogans. Especially, Vinatex Binh Duong held hundreds of retail outlets at province-based industrial parks and compounds…All contributed to promoting the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign in the province over the past time.
Nguyen Thi Mot, Head of Thu Dau Mot city’s Department of Protection on Customers’ Rights said that over the past time, the department sped up dissemination of information about the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign. The department teamed up with relevant agencies and mass organizations to mobilize the local people to actively use Vietnamese goods. As a result, more and more people in TDM city have used Vietnamese goods.
