Recently, in Singapore, in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Becamex IDC (Binh Duong, Vietnam) and Sembcorp Development LTD (Singapore) on cooperation in the formation and development of 5 green, smart and sustainable industrial zones in Vietnam in the next three years took place.
Thus, from Binh Duong, the VSIP model, after more than 25 years, has now spread to all three regions North - Central - South of the country. VSIP has become a model for concentrated industrial park development both at home and abroad. The effectiveness and wide spread of VSIP brand is also a convincing proof for a dynamic, innovative, integrated and sustainable Binh Duong.

According to Gricha Safarian, General Director of Puratos Grand-Place Vietnam Co., Ltd (VSIP I), after nearly 25 years of investment in Binh Duong, Puratos Grand-Place Vietnam is one of the first FDI enterprises that invested in Binh Duong as VSIP I was just formed. Binh Duong's IPs in general and VSIPs in particular have provided investors with complete and synchronous infrastructure in a safe and efficient production environment. It can be said that VSIP is one of the model industrial park models in Vietnam, in the process of industrial park investment and development, VSIP has been constantly developing both in breadth and depth to build up large-scale, synchronous, and modern industrial parks at international level.

Towards a smart industrial park
Up to now, VSIP joint venture has successfully built 12 industrial - urban - service zones (total scale of more than 10,000 ha) under the VSIP brand name in 8 provinces and cities stretching across the country (Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh). Currently, VSIPs have attracted more than 860 projects from 30 countries and territories, with a registered capital of up to $17 billion, creating jobs for more than 300,000 workers.
Regarding the industrial park model, VSIP continues to pioneer the development of the smart industrial park model according to the general development orientation of Binh Duong province as well as focusing on green, sustainable and environmentally friendly development. The upcoming VSIP III will be the first example of applying new management technologies as well as promoting the use of renewable energy sources such as solar power from rooftop panels or solar panels.
