On the morning of March 13, the People's Committee of Phu Giao District convened a meeting to implement plans for the development of Vinh Lap Industrial Park (VSIP 4) in Tam Lap Commune, alongside proposals from the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited regarding compensation and site clearance for the project.
Vinh Lap Industrial Park encompasses a total area of 750 hectares, segmented into two phases: 497 hectares during the 2021-2030 period and 253 hectares from 2030 to 2050. This planning aligns with the developmental strategy of Binh Duong province, incorporating residential and urban areas to meet the demands of VSIP 4 Industrial Park. The project anticipates the establishment of an urban area spanning approximately 327.82 hectares, with modifications planned for the 2025-2030 timeframe in accordance with the province's housing strategy.
The power supply for the industrial park is sourced from the 110kV Phu Giao station, with plans for the construction of the 110kV Tan Hiep power station anticipated in 2025. Furthermore, the water supply pipeline from Biwase Company has a capacity of 12,000m3 per day and night, adequately fulfilling the requirements of both the industrial park and the urban area.
During the meeting, the People's Committee of Phu Giao District proposed establishing the estimated compensation and support value in accordance with legal regulations. Additionally, they recommended that once the specific land price for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway is approved, it should serve as a reference for more accurate calculations.
