The Economic Division of Phu Giao district recently organized a summary of the implementation of tasks in 2023 and set directions and tasks for 2024.
The agricultural production value implemented in 2023 in Phu Giao district reached 5,816 billion VND, an increase of 6.68% compared to the same period. In the district, there have been 704 households and agricultural production facilities applying high technology, with a total area of over 1,200 hectares, an increase of 337 facilities per household.
In total, there are 547 agricultural establishments, 157 cold livestock farms, and 107 agriculture production facilities certified with VietGAP. Additionally, there are 28 cooperative groups with 281 members, 10 cooperative associations with 94 members, and 2 newly established cooperatives, bringing the total number of active cooperatives in the district to 26. The estimated value of industrial and cottage industry production is 5,811 billion VND, representing a 12.11% increase.
On this occasion, the district People's Committee has awarded VietGAP certification, recognizing the agricultural production standards for 6 households; presented commendation certificates to 5 collectives and 10 individuals who have made significant contributions to the local agricultural development.
