Phu Giao District signs agreement implementing non-cash payment

On May 23, Phu Giao District People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the implementation of non-cash payment streets in the district. 

Accordingly, four streets in Phuoc Vinh town apply network marketing payments, including: Hung Vuong Street, 18/9 Street, Doc Lap Street (section DT741 junction to 18/9 street junction), DT Street (section from Phuoc Vinh High School to Phuoc Thanh Victory Monument).

Delegates experience online shopping at some non-cash payment businesses in the district.

The launching ceremony had the participation of 8 units and banks assisting the use of online digital payment forms, including Viettel Phu Giao, VNPT Phu Giao, Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Argibank), Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Saigon Ha Commercial Joint Stock Bank Noi (SHB), and An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank. 

Tran Hong Dung, Vice Chairwoman of Phu Giao District People's Committee, said that the launching of non-cash payment streets in the district encourage the implementation of digital transformation in the district with more and more positive changes. In the coming time, the district will intensify propagation and encourage consumers to actively use online payment in shopping.
