On September 14, Phu Giao district’s People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the first round of OCOP (One Commune One Product) products with 3-star standards for 2024.
Accordingly, five entities in the district were recognized in this round. They include Hieu Hang Trading and Service Co., Ltd. with the Hieu Hang bird's nest product in An Long commune; Yen Tuyet Business Facility with the Yen Tuyet bird's nest product in Vinh Hoa commune; Phu An Khuong Business and Production Facility with Phu An Khuong durian in An Binh commune; Nguyen Van Dinh Business Facility with Bay Dinh durian in Vinh Hoa commune and Nguyen Van Tra Business Facility with Phuoc Sang netted muskmelon in Phuoc Sang commune.
These producers were granted certifications by the district’s People's Committee and are allowed to use the certifications, OCOP logo, and product ranking for printing on labels, leaflets and other promotional materials in accordance with regulations. The certification and product ranking are valid for 36 months from the date of issuance.
At the announcement ceremony, Van Quang Chinh, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao district’s People's Committee, praised and recognized the spirit and production efforts of the entities. These products not only demonstrate exceptional quality, but also reflect the creativity and uniqueness of Phu Giao’s craft villages and distinctive production areas.
