Phu Giao district’s agricultural production value in the first half of 2017 was estimated at more than VND1.49trillion, up 2.6% compared to the same period last year. It is known that the proportion of cultivation now accounts for 70.8% of the district’s agricultural sector while animal husbandry occupied 29.2%.
The district’s total area of cultivation is more than 39,340 hectares, up 240.86 hectares compared to the same period last year. In terms of animal husbandry, the district’s total herd of poultry and cattle has so far reached more than 2.34million of animals.
