Reportedly, Phu Giao district reached an economic growth of 12.52% in 2014 with an economic structure shifted towards the reduction of agricultural proportion and the growth of industrial, trade-services proportion with 41.1%, 31.5% and 27.4%, respectively.
The district’s agro-forestry production value was estimated at VND3.219bln while industrial production value reached VND2.196bln. Total retail sales revenue of commodities and services achieved VND2.425bln. Total State budget collection was estimated at VND113.807mln. Average income per capita was VND34.5mln/year, up VND3.7mln compared to 2013.
In 2015, Phu Giao district will strive to reach an economic growth of 13%-13.5% with total value of industrial production, agricultural production and trade-services that will grow by 5%-6%, 12%-14% and 19%-22%, respectively. Total State budget collection will gain VND158.640bln. Average income per capita is VND36.9mln/year.
