Phu Giao district’s economy in the first three months of 2018 continued reaching stable development.
The district’s annual cultivation area for the spring-winter crop was 1,244 hectares, up 93.1 hectares. The district’s production value of industry-home industry reached more than VND702billion, up 14.32% compared to the corresponding period last year. The district’s total State collection was more than VND219.5trillion while total State budget spending was more than VND156.3trillion. The district’s total retail sales revenue was more than VND1trillion, up 19.34% compared to the same period last year.
Also during the period, the district granted business registration certificates to 99 facilities with a total registered capital of VND47.8billion; set up a cooperative, bringing the total number of cooperatives herein to 10. The district also instructed localities to maintain and improve the quality of criteria of new rural communes; registered for the completion of developing An Binh and Phuoc Hoa communes into new rural ones this year.
