Phu Giao district’s total retail sales of goods and services over the past nine months were estimated at VND1.526trillion or 73.24% of the year’s plan and up 16.93% compared to 2012.
To stabilize the market price and meet customers’ demand, the district’s People’s Committee has instructed the local functional agencies to team up with the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize two market-days of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” in Tan Long commune at Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company; coordinate with Binh Duong-based Citimart supermarket to execute the monthly price stabilization program in communes and Phuoc Vinh township.
The local functional agencies have also tightened control over infringements in production and business. Since early this year, they have discovered 50 wrong cases and imposed a fine of VND163 on 49 cases while seizing some illegal goods.
