Along with its successes in production-trading activities, Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (JSC) has attached special importance to taking good care of the lives of laborers. This has helped the company’s laborers keep their mind on work with the labor quality improved.
Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC is now home to 5,772 laborers. In 2010, the company decided to adjust salaries for its laborers four times with VND474bln paid. Apartedly, Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC teamed up with the Health Centers of Phu Giao, Tan Uyen, Ben Cat districts in giving healthcare for its laborers; well realized the policies on insurance, labor safety equipment…with total money of more than VND38mln; spent more than VND8bln on organizing cultural-sports activities, tours… for its laborers.
The company also launched the movement of economic development among its laborers with the support of VND490mln in loan. The company’s laborers got VND16.1bln in loan on credit to develop homebased business. As a result, the average income of the company’s laborer households from homebased business was estimated at VND15mln per household per year.
In 2011, the price of rubber latex will still stand at high level, according to many experts. This will also help Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC further maintain its programs and policies taking care of the spiritual and materials lives of laborers at higher level. Nguyen Van Tan, company General Director said: “…With the current trend of the rubber latex price increase, the company will have reasonable calculations for raising laborers’ income”.
