Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (JSC) said that Phuoc Hoa-Kampong Thon Rubber Development Co.Ltd. in Cambodia in the first half of the year put more than 400 out of 7,662 hectares of rubber trees into exploitation as planned.
This is the first batch of rubber latex tapped by the JSC in Cambodia. The JSC is expected to tap additional 1,500-2,000 hectares of rubber trees from the project in the next years. The project in Cambodia has brought initial results to the JSC.
In Binh Duong, the JSC in the first eight months of the year tapped more than 8,200 tons of rubber latex and purchased nearly 7,800 tons of rubber latex from small rubber gardens, securing nearly VND748billion in revenue and more than VND83billion in profit. Despite difficulties from the decrease of the world’s rubber latex prices, the JSC still continued working effectively.
