In 2014, economic growth of Phuoc Vinh township in Phu Giao district reached 13.8% with the average income per capita of VND34.5mln, a twofold increase compared to 2013.
The township’s economic structure shifted towards the growth of industry, home industry and trade-services. The number of poor households herein reduced to 47 or 1.32% of total. As of late 2014, there were 99.95% of the local households in use of national power grid, up 0.003%. The township also completed all works on basic construction as planned.
In 2015, Phuoc Vinh township will strive to obtain an economic growth of 13,8%-14% with the average income per capita of VND34.5mln-VND36mln. The proportion of industrial manufacture and trade-services will account for 31% and 42.5% of the local economic structure, respectively. The rate of the local households will also reduce to below 1% under the province’s poverty line.
