In the first quarter of 2021, Thu Dau Mot city continued promoting planning and construction. The city’s adjustment of the functional subdivision planning at 1/2000 scale of Dinh Hoa ward was approved by provincial People’s Committee. Provincial People’s Committee also ratified the detailed planning project of 1/500 scale for Phu Tho Quoc Cuong apartment building; said ok to the adjustment of the Sabinco - Tuong Binh Hiep Commercial, Service Residential project; allowed Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company to study planning in a number of areas in the city.
In addition, the city also coordinated with provincial Department of Construction to select consulting units to set up a plan on adjustment of the local overall development plan until 2040 as stipulated. In addition, there are also the Program on the local urban rejevenation for the 2020-2025 period and the Program on the local urban development towards a smart city in the 2020-2025 period and in the next years with focus on improving the quality of urban criteria, application of information technology in all fields of life, culture and services.
