He highlighted the need to stimulate economic growth by revamping market economy institutions, ensuring freedom of business, transparency and equality in business operations and simplifying administrative procedures regarding the establishment of businesses, taxes, customs, land management and inspection formalities.
With regard to administrative reforms, the PM said the Government is calling for officers and employees to change their attitudes when dealing with issues related to enterprises and the people.
Dung directed the banking sector to assist businesses with simplified credit access, development of capital markets and better links between them and banks.
He reiterated the Government’s willingness to promulgate proper mechanisms and policies to support enterprises while suggesting that businesses should pay special attention to restructuring and advanced technological application in order to increase labour productivity, sharpen competitiveness and decrease production costs.
Dung requested businesses and associations coordinate with all relevant agencies in anti-trafficking and contraband, counterfeit and substandard products, market expansion and proper law enforcement.
The Government Office will forward the community’s business recommendations to every relevant ministry and sector for handling to offer favorable conditions for business growth, he concluded.
