Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his wife hosted a banquet for ambassadors, charge d’affaires and heads of international organizations in Hanoi on August 30 in observance of the 73rd anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2).
PM Phuc warmly welcomed foreign diplomats and international friends to the celebration, saying that he wishes they will continue providing valuable assistance and great support for Vietnam.
Vietnam has redoubled a great deal of effort to boost international integration with a focus on boosting economic cooperation and dialogues and cooperation with the international community on the basis of respect for independence, sovereignty, equality and mutual benefits as well as international law, seeing this as a foundation and the most effective tool to protect the legitimate interests of countries.
Vietnam, along with other ASEAN member states, is realizing the ASEAN Vision 2025 to build a community of solidarity, development and prosperity towards enhancing the central role of the bloc in the regional architecture, he stressed.
“We are always at our best to be a good friend and reliable partner of the international community for equal and win-win cooperation he said and spoke of his belief that the foreign diplomats and friends will make greater contributions to the promotion of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and countries across the globe,” he said.
