On the morning of November 11, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs informed that the unit had provided financial support under Resolution 68 of the Prime Minister, Resolution 04 of the Provincial People's Council and Decision 12 of the Provincial People's Committee for 3,917,534 people, with the amount of VND 2,862,186 billion.
In particular, total support under Resolution No. 68 for 1,136,823 cases was VND 1,752,633 billion. Support under Resolution 04 of the People's Council for 1,404,011 cases was VND 421,203 billion (this policy completed the approval of expenditure). Support under Decision No. 12/2021/QD-UBND for 1,376,700 cases was VND 688.35 billion (this policy has comp leted the approval of expenditure). Particularly the policy of reducing the premium for occupational accidents and occupational diseases and the policy of suspending payment to the retirement and death fund, the number of beneficial units was 14,408 and 1,029,122 employees with total amount of VND 555,215 billion.
Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Deputy Director of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the department is currently coordinating with localities and businesses to check dossiers to settle policy groups under Resolution 68 of the Prime Minister, such as: Supporting workers who have to postpone labor contracts, take unpaid leave; workers who are in temporary suspension from work; workers who have to terminate their employment contracts but not eligible for unemployment insurance etc. due to the impact of the 4th Covid-19 wave until the end of December 2021. For workers without labor contracts (freelance workers) and some other specific groups, the province has paid support for 480,055 people with the amount of VND 720,082 billion.
