Morning July 19, Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee for WTA’s 11th Conference, chaired a meeting of Steering Committee and Organizing Committee for the WTA’s 11th Conference to update the preparations for the 2018 WTA events.

As planned, the WTA’s 11th Conference; Hi-Tech Fair and Global Innovation Forum 2018 on occasion of the WTA’s 20th anniversary will be held in Binh Duong from 10 to 12 October-2018 with the theme "Smart City - Innovation for Sustainable Development”, including key events: the 11th Conference of WTA General Assembly; Hi-Tech Fair; WTA Mayor's Forum; WTA University Principals’ Forum; Global Innovation Forum 2018.
At the meeting, departments and agencies reported on the preparation for WTA events in 2018, such as the establishment of the 2018 WTA Steering Committee and Organizing Committee; website for WTA events; announcement of Smart city construction - Binh Duong 2018 Contest; List of invitations, logo design... Generally, preparation works are being implemented by departments, agencies, and units according to plan.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Liem stressed that this was an important event of the province. Therefore, agencies and units should carefully prepare all assigned tasks; Advise provincial People's Committee to set up sub-committees for the event; Strengthening propagation activities on mass media such as Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio and Television, Provincial official website, WTA Website, social network; Reorganize the WTA 2018 Event Schedules accordingly.
