Biwase staff often inspect quality of clean.
At the client conference 2015, Binh Duong water supply and environment Co.Ltd. (Biwase) announced the provincial People’s Committee’s Decision on reducing minimum level for households from 20 cubic meters per month to 10 cubic meters per month and simultaneously increasing household and production water price from March 1, 2015.
According to Biwase’s leaders, investment in water supply plant and system of water supply tube to residential areas requires a big capital source. Therefore, in order to ensure clean water supply and protect community health, the company must seek out long term loans from the Government through international organizations of ODA, WB and more with preferential interest rates.
In reality, from these loans, Biwase helps build many advanced water supply plants with a capacity of over 200,000 cubic meters per day and nights by automatic system to ensure adequate supply of clean water. Therefore, rate of water loss in Binh Duong is at the lowest level compared with the whole country.
In addition, though the company’s leaders make efforts to save expenses to ensure proper price for households and enterprises, price of materials and wage increase, loan payment and more are reasons making a price hike of clean. This increase in Binh Duong is always 7% lower than other localities, Nguyen Van Thien, Biwase general director said.
Most of clients participating in this conference agreed on price hike of water. Tran Thuy Danh, head of Genimex resettlement area in Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot city said that the area residents agreed on this price hike.
Tu Anh Tuan, vice rector of Di An vocational school suggested Biwase to invest and develop further types at Di An town because many families in this town are using water from wells.
Based on the Decision No.66/2014/QD-UBND on household and production water price in the province, household water is at VND6,100 per cubic meter for rate of under 10 cubic meters, VND8.600 for the 11th – 20th cubic meters and VND10.600 for the 21st to 30th cubic meters. Meanwhile, water price for business and service is at VND16,000 per cubic meter.
