Prices of necessities stabled at 5-10% lower than market prices

Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee issued plan to stable market of necessities in 2021 in the province.

Accordingly, the necessities servicing the public in 2021 including rice, processed foods, fresh foods, fuels, medicines and commodities of pandemic prevention (masks, preventive medical equipment, and so on). According to Binh Duong provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, supplies of poultries, cattle meat, and eggs are plenty in the upcoming year. Accordingly, meat of cattle could be 2,250 tons a month, poultries 3,750 tons a month, and 40 million eggs a month. As for pork, the supply is projected to be 7,500 tons a month, ensuring people’s needs. Supermarkets and CP Vietnam of Binh Duong Branch along with Vissan have participated to stable the market price of pork in the province with the guarantee that the prices should be 5-10% lower than the market prices.

The stockpile of necessities under stabilized prices before, during, and after Tet Holiday (year of the buffalo) is planned for December 31, 2020 through March 31, 2021.
