The prices of some vegetables lightly decreased by VND2,000-VND3,000 per kg over the last week.
At TDM market, many kinds of vegetables such as field cabbage, basella alba, amaranth…now stand at VND7,000-VND12,000 per kg. The prices of cucumber, gourd and bitter melon have also reduced to VND7,000-VND12,000 per kg. Chinese carrot is now sold at VND12,000-VND13,000 per kg, down by VND7,000 per kg.
The prices of various salad have seen sharp decrease by VND15,000 and VND20,000 per kg while some vegetables are now at a stable price or have increased by VND2,000 per kg. For example, the prices of aubergine, raw vegetable, cabbage and Da Lat carrot have been stabilized at VND8,000-VND12,000 per kg, but the price of tomato has reached VND10,000 per kg, up VND2,000 per kg.
