Primacy Apparel Company, the 100% foreign-owned enterprise, specializes in processing deal contract of apprel products with 600 laborers, 85% of whom are women and most of them are very young. Besides, the company trade union in cooperation with the company directorate builds collective labor agreements. Nguyen Duc Hung, chairman of the company trade union said that the company trade union has over the past years excelled its role. Until now, 600 laborers working at the company are the trade unionists. The company trade union well implements legitimate rights and benefits of laborers. Besides, the company trade union executive board quarterly cooperates with the company leaders to build contents, programs and hold dialogues with workers to exchange issues concerned by laborers, so laborers' ideas and concerns are replied adequately.
The company ensures job, income, allowances of health insurance, social insurance, unemployment insurance as well as equips labor protection devices and improve working conditions for workers.
Especially, the company supports costs of petrol, accommodation for all workers with the cost of VND150,000 per person per month. In addition, the company trade union holds gift visits to ill laborers and birthday parties for workers.
In order to improve laborers' spiritual and cultural life, the company trade union held artistic and sport movements and social charity activities as well as helped workers in difficult circumstances. Particularly, periodical health check-up for laborers is paid much attention by the company trade union. Nguyen Thi Hoa, worker of the company said that the trade union and company leaders pay much attention to workers' life and job. All policies of the State are implemented completely. "In the past Month for Workers, the company trade union held cultural, artistic and sport activities to create lively ambiance for workers", said Hoa.
