Morning Aug 15, Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with Department of Industry and Trade handed over and checked before acceptance the project of gas kiln for ceramics with energy savings at Chan Thanh Ceramic Company (Kien An hamlet, An Dien, Ben Cat Town).
This was a project to improve the efficiency of energy use small and medium-sized enterprises. This kiln has a capacity of 70m3, used gas as fuel with the highest temperature of 1,250o. This technology was transferred by Bat Trang Ceramic Design and Manufacture Company.
Mr. Ly Chi Thanh, Director of Chan Thanh Ceramic Company, said in response to scientific and technological application into manufacture, the company had boldly switched their burning technology from using wood to gas. This technology helps reduce fuel costs, take advantage of the heat to dry other products, and contributes to environmental protection
