On July 11, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung paid a working session with Bac Tan Uyen district leaders to learn about local construction and development of socio-economy, national defense and security.
After more than 3 months of operation, the district administration apparatus is rapidly formed up and timely implemented tasks of socio-economy and national defense and security. Accordingly, the district economic structure is shifted to agro-forestry – industry – service trend.
At present, the whole of the district has 4 industrial compounds and parks with the total area of more than 1,100ha, attracting 132 enterprises. The total budget collection in the second quarter reached more than VND90bil while the total budget expenditure won more than VND72mil.
In terms of investment planning, the entire district has 50 projects, 9 of which are under investment while the district’s central administration area and resettlement area reache 100% of compensation and site clearance.
At the working session, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung steered that departments, agencies and Becamex IDC should in the coming time spur progress of projects invested in the locality in a bid to soon take Bac Tan Uyen district develop along with other districts and towns under the province.
