In the first 6 months of 2018, the Binh Duong Customs Department has coordinated with the Customs Sub-Departments to contact, propagate and support 325 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises. Phase 1 includes 268 enterprises, phase 2 includes 57 enterprises. As a result, as of June 26, 2018, 82 new enterprises have gone through procedures, amounting to 114.28 billion VND. The remaining enterprises are in the process of investment, construction and finishing works.
A representative of Binh Duong Customs Department said that in order to achieve the above results, communication activities and business support were always paid attention to by the units and customs departments. Sub-departments have formed a business contact group, have clear plans in the process of contacting and assisting in dealing with difficulties and problems in the process of investment and import-export activities of enterprises. In addition, customs departments have cooperated well with customs agents, business associations etc. to conduct contacts, propaganda and support enterprises in time.
In the coming time, the Binh Duong Customs Department will continue to coordinate with the Customs Sub-Departments directly under the concerned departments and agencies to take initiative in contacting and solving difficulties and problems of enterprises. Particularly, newly established enterprises aim to create favorable conditions for export and import activities of enterprises, help enterprises to secure investment and development.
